Václav Toncer One person for IT, data and e-commerce.

I help online stores and small businesses sell on marketplaces, turn data into useful reports, automate routine work and keep IT running. I know the full app development process, and I know e-commerce from day-to-day operations, not just the tech side. Instead of four suppliers, you get one person who sees how it all connects.

How I can help

Marketplaces & e-commerce

I launch and manage your sales on Allegro, Kaufland, Aukro and Odkarla through BaseLinker.

  • product feed editing and optimisation in Mergado
  • advertising on Allegro (Allegro Ads)
  • customer communication
  • market research and supplier sourcing

Data & reporting

I turn scattered data into clear reports you can use to steer purchasing and marketing.

  • Looker Studio dashboards
  • connecting multiple data sources
  • BigQuery data warehouse, SQL

Automation & development

I hand repetitive manual work over to machines and connect your systems so they exchange data on their own.

  • automation with Google Apps Script, Python and AI
  • system integrations
  • custom internal tools, development in Python and C++

IT management & project leadership

I look after the tech in your company and make sure IT projects actually get finished.

  • designing and setting up company networks (MikroTik, Teltonika)
  • technical support, website and online store management
  • testing and bug hunting
  • liaison between your company and external developers: briefs, priorities, follow-through

Proven in practice

All examples come from an e-commerce company with around 25 employees that sells electronics.

Marketplace sales from scratch

Starting point
The company didn’t sell on any marketplaces and had only a patchy product feed.
What I did
Using BaseLinker, I launched sales on Allegro, Kaufland, Aukro and Odkarla. In Mergado, I reworked the feed so products are easier to browse and, above all, used items carry accurate condition details – customers know exactly what cosmetic state to expect. On Allegro, I also ran advertising and customer communication.
Result
The company now sells through four new sales channels, and buyers repeatedly single out the communication in their reviews.

Sales dashboards and a data warehouse

Starting point
Sales data existed only in raw form, with no overview to base decisions on.
What I did
I built Looker Studio dashboards with extensive calculations and multiple connected sources. I then moved the data from Google Sheets to BigQuery and rewrote the calculations in SQL.
Result
The company uses the dashboards to drive purchasing of its best-selling products, and the marketing team plans budgets and campaigns with them. Since the move to BigQuery, the dashboards load much faster.

A live-updating B2B price list

Starting point
Supplier price lists lived in separate spreadsheets, and the company price list had to be reconciled with them by hand.
What I did
With Google Apps Script, I connected supplier price lists in Google Sheets to the company price list, which now updates automatically.
Result
This allowed the company to expand its B2B offering.

Company network and IT support

Starting point
The company needed a local network designed and set up from the ground up.
What I did
I designed and deployed the entire local network on MikroTik and Teltonika hardware, and I provide ongoing technical support.
Result
The network and support are handled by one person who knows the setup in detail.

Purchasing decisions based on market data

Starting point
The company was looking for products worth investing in.
What I did
Based on a marketplace analysis, I recommended increasing stock of the HomePod mini.
Result
The HomePod mini sold at margins of up to 20%.

Better processes and development management

Starting point
As the company grew, its existing processes stopped keeping up, and online store development needed someone to lead it.
What I did
I proposed improvements to internal processes and the online store, and I briefed and managed tasks for external developers.
Result
Development sped up, and so did the developers’ work.

How I work

One-off project

A defined brief with a clear finish line: a marketplace launch, a dashboard, an automation, a network.

About me

I’m a generalist who connects IT, data, marketing and business. For several years, I helped build a growing e-commerce company, first as a manager and later as an external contractor. That’s how I know what running an online store looks like day to day – from the warehouse and packing to marketplaces and the data that drives purchasing. I understand the technology in depth, but what interests me most is what it brings to the business.

I studied Software Engineering at the Faculty of Applied Informatics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín (Bachelor’s degree with honours), followed by two years of graduate studies in Information Technology.
